Give to Yakima Maker Space

Yakima Maker Space is fiscally sponsored by the School Factory, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports collaborative spaces and educational programs like ours around the country. When you donate, you’re helping us and helping others like us!  A donation of any amount is a great help to us as we work to support and encourage the creative potential of the Yakima Valley.

How much can you help?

  • $50 keeps lightbulbs in our lights

  • $100 fixes an important tool (lenses for laser cutting; blades for bandsaws; bits for the routers)

  • $300 keeps power tools powered for a month

  • $500 covers a workshop for art/tech

  • $1,300 means we can pay rent for a month

Click here to pay by check. (link to http://schoolfactory.org/donate) Especially for larger donations, we encourage you to pay by check to reduce the amount we pay in fees.

You can also choose your amount and make a donation online via PayPal. Click here:

What happens after I donate?

Within about a month, you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation, which you should use when filing your Federal income tax. For tips on claiming your donation as a tax deduction, click here:
