MAKING AN ACCORDIAN AND A SIMPLE SEWN BOOK #2

Overview: A two-part video supplies instruction for 2 easy book constructions.  The first an "accordion" book where folding the long page is demonstrated, and how to "hinge" the pages together, and finishing of the wallpaper covered matboard.   The second example is showing how to measure and drill holes for an easy sewing of pages. Students need to supply their own scissors, glue stick, ruler, electric power drill or a sharp awl, and a tapestry needle.  To add "closing " ties to the books, students can use a 1/8th inch reel of satin ribbon, embroidery floss, or any cordage. This demo comes with a home package that includes everything you need to make your first book. Simply follow along with the video for a fun home products.
