This hands-on class will introduce participants to the basics of wood turning. You will learn by doing as you try your hand at turning a set of candlesticks from two blanks of alder. You'll learn how to mount stock to the lathe, how to turn square stock round, how to cut profiles into your stock, and how to sand and finish, right on the lathe! Class size is very limited in order to ensure working time for each participant. A waitlist will be available and more sessions will be scheduled if there is a demand.
