Wheel Throwing- Make a Cylinder / Vase

Learn how to use a pottery wheel to throw your very own vase/cylinder!  This 2 day class will teach you everything you need to know about throwing a vase on a potters wheel.  

Day One- Saturday March 2, 2024, You will learn how to prepare your clay for a potters wheel, then learn the skills and techniques to create your very own vase.

Day Two- Sunday March 3, 2024, You will learn how to trim your vase and prepare it for its first firing in the kiln.  (A glazing class will be held at a future date for a discounted price.)

*All vases will be required to be bicked up by April 6th, 2024.  Any vases left at Yakima Maker Space after April 6th, will become the property of Yakima Maker Space.
