Pottery Class- Make Your Own Bowl!

Registration

  • This is a 2 day class.

    Day 1-Saturday, April 6th- Learn to throw your own bowl on a pottery wheel. You will learn to prepare your clay and throw your very own bowl on a pottery wheel. Day 2- Sunday, April 7th- This class will consist of trimming your bowl to prepare for a glazing class. (Glazing class will be offered at future date a a discount)

    Day 2- Sunday, April 7th- This class will consist of trimming your bowl to prepare for a glazing class.

    (Glazing class will be offered at future date a a discount)
Registration is closed

Learn how to use a pottery wheel to throw your own bowl!  This two-day class will teach you everything you need to know about throwing your own bowl on a pottery wheel.  

Day one- Saturday, April 6th- you will learn how to prepare clay for a pottery wheel and then acquire the skills and techniques to create your very own bowl. 

Day two-Sunday, April 7th- you will learn how to trim your bowl to prepare it for daily use after glazing.

(A glazing class will be held at a future date at a discounted price).

* All bowls will be required to be picked up by May 30th, 2024.  Any bowls left at Yakima Maker Space after May 30th, 2024, will become the property of Yakima Maker Space.  

*Minimum of 3 students will be required to hold the class. If the class isn't held, a future class will be rescheduled.
