Class Description: Curious about quilting but not sure where to start? Join us for a 4-week beginner-friendly series where you'll learn the basics of quilting from start to finish while creating your own mini quilt wall hanging. We'll cover choosing and preparing fabric, cutting, piecing, pressing, creating a quilt sandwich, basic quilting, and binding. By the end of the series, you'll have a finished mini quilt ready to hang in your home and the skills to continue exploring quilting on your own!
Who This Class Is For: This series is designed for beginners or anyone who has wanted to try quilting but feels intimidated by where to start. No previous quilting experience is necessary. Sewing machines will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own so you can become comfortable using it. Because this is a 4-week series, participants should plan to attend all four sessions.
Instructor: This class is taught by Noemi, a DIY-spirited maker who believes sewing is a skill anyone can learn. She has experience quilting and loves sharing the process in a relaxed, hands-on environment. Her teaching style is encouraging, approachable, and focused on building confidence while learning something new.
All materials provided. Need 2 students to sign up or we will need to reschedule.
